The aim of ISSP is to offer high-quality alternative education for young photographers, and to encourage cross-border networking and exchange of ideas in the art of photography. Each year, the ISSP offers thematic workshops led by photography professionals of international standing. The students produce their own photographic project in frame of a workshop, working together with their teacher and group-members to explore the chosen genre and topic in depth. A public exhibition of the students' works traditionally opens at the final day of the School.
In 2008 I participated in "Street Photography: THE STREET LIFE" workshop taught by lecturer Stefan Rohner - born in 1962 in Germany, traveled around the world, now living in Ibiza, Spain. He is a photographer specialized in street and portrait photography.
