connecting the dots
......................................................................................................................................................................................................................
All of my life I am constantly in crossroads, between intersections - figuring which way to go, what decisions to take and what moves to make. Who to meet and what relationships to hold. This short body of work explores one particular crossroad in southeast part of Latvia in a small town Ludza, 30km from the Latvian - Russian border. This is a place that holds more everyday decisions and lifelines than in some bigger cities. All the main municipality institutions are here on each of four corners - town hall on one, police station on another, culture house on third and grocery store on fourth. Meeting point, playground, racetrack, observers nest - everything intersects here. Intersection.
